Hi there, minnow followers! I am the newly added Mintern at the pond who’s traveled all the way from the Northern parts of America, aka the Land of Cheese. Around here I’m known as “The Other Blonde Intern” or “Rainbow Trout,” but if you want to keep it simple just call me Andrea. I am originally from Wisconsin, or as I say, “Wis-caaaan-sin.”  It’s wonderful place where we all have terrible accents, call water fountains “bubblers,” and watch the Packers while eating cheese and drinking beer all day long.

Currently, I am a senior advertising major at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, on track to graduate December of 2012. Aside from spending my time as an account intern here at the Pond, I am also a graphic designer at UNL’s first ever student-run ad lab called Jacht Club, along with Erintern.

So far at the minnow, I’ve learned things like how to use WordPress, and how to properly use social media sites for business. My ultimate goal before graduation is to learn the language of code and create my own online masterpiece with a .com ending!

When I’m not swimming or sailing in the waters of advertising I enjoy the typical boring things like reading in coffee shops, a good heart-felt movie, and running.  So if you’ve recently read an addicting book, seen a movie that made you laugh and then cry, or you’re running in the 2012 Chicago Marathon, let’s talk!
